Time of possession sat just 21:18, and Austin Peay doubled them in first downs. Middle Tennessee ranks 134th nationally in yards per game at 153.0.
Wisconsin’s defensive identity hit full display last week. The Badgers allowed 117 total yards, 83 through the air and only 34 rushing. Miami went 0-for-9 on third downs, and Wisconsin forced two interceptions. Preston Zachman is tied for first nationally with two picks already. Their defense ranks first in FBS for points allowed per game at 0.0. They also sit T1st for Q1, Q2, and Q3 opponent points at 0.0. Offensively, Danny O’Neil filled in with 120 yards on 12-of-19 passing for a touchdown and an interception. He added a rushing score on 11 carries. Dilin Jones paced the ground game with 73 yards on 14 carries at 5.2 per rush. Vinny Anthony caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown, showcasing perimeter separation. Wisconsin produced 353 total yards, 23 first downs, and 4.7 yards per play.
Middle Tennessee vs. Wisconsin pick, best bet
Advanced splits underline why Wisconsin controls tempo. Their yards per pass differential sits +1.22, with 10.44 yards per attempt versus 9.22 allowed.
