Rhys McKee is facing Axel Sola, one of six fighters making their UFC debut on this card. This fight is the second of six bouts on the UFC Fight Night main card. McKee is 1-4 in the UFC but is coming off a TKO victory against Daniel Frunza in April. Sola has a 10-0-1 record with six finishes in his career.
Check out my best bet for the second bout between Axel Sola vs. Rhys McKee at today’s UFC Fight Night.
Rhys McKee Moneyline (+114)
Sola has shown a more aggressive ability recently, winning five of his last six wins coming via KO/TKO. Even though McKee has more experience against UFC competition, he hasn’t done well against the top talent. With that being said, the UFC debutant is the favorite at -135 in this contest, with McKee being a +114 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.
In this matchup, both fighters excel on the feet, making it likely that this fight will be a striking battle. On paper, this is a favorable matchup for McKee, who holds a four-inch reach advantage (78″ vs. 74″) while being three inches taller (6’2″ vs. 5’11”). Sola is a talented fighter, but doesn’t have the experience against the top talent like McKee has.
Five of Sola’s last six wins have come via finish. If McKee can make this a more prolonged fight and wear Sola down throughout three rounds, he will have a good chance to pull off the upset.
