Let’s be honest. How much of Dolphins vs. Colts do you really want to be watching on Week 1 of the NFL regular season? There are better uses of your time, sir or madam, and I say this as a 33-year-old Miami fan who has experienced very little happiness. I speak from familiarity.

Ollie Gordon II First Touchdown Scorer (+1200)
I’m not sure there’s enough smoke for it to be a full-on hype train, but more people than expected have been talking about Ollie Gordon all summer. Part of that is opportunity. Gordon wasn’t initially all that high on the Dolphins’ RB depth chart, yet injuries to Jaylen Wright and Alexander Mattison have moved the rookie into what appears to be some significant playing time alongside De’Von Achane. There’s no doubt that Gordon fills a void on Miami’s roster, too. The Oklahoma State product checked in a 6’1 and 226 pounds at the NFL Draft Combine. He’s a large frame back and more of a prototypical goal line rusher than Achane. The Dolphins have long struggled under Mike McDaniel in short yardage and Gordon seems like the obvious answer to those woes. I’m no ornithologist, but I think I see a TD vulture.
Tyler Warren First Touchdown Scorer (+1500)
The Colts didn’t really have a true red zone threat last season. In fact, not a single player on the roster registered even a 22% target share inside the 20-yard line. That seems like a role that Tyler Warren can now fill for the team. Warren was drafted 14th-overall by Indianapolis after leading the Big Ten conference with 104 receptions last season. Eight of those were touchdowns, but it’s not like Warren was volume dependant in finding the end zone in college. In fact, in his junior campaign, seven of Warren’s 34 catches were for scores. The 6’6 tight end certainly profiles like a weapon near the goal line and I’d expect he’ll be one of Daniel Jones’ early reads against a Dolphins’ secondary that has a lot of question marks heading into 2025.
