Blue Jays at Yankees game delayed due to rain Saturday 9/6/25

UPDATE: Blue Jays at Yankees is expected to begin at 4:30 p.m. EST.

Saturday’s game between the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Yankees is in a rain delay. The contest made it into the sixth inning before weather forced a stoppage and the tarp to be rolled onto the field.

No time for resumption has been provided yet.

The Yankees led 2-1 at the time of the stoppage. Betting lines are frozen for the moment, but the Yankees are -428 to win on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Blue Jays hold +295 odds to win outright.

Entering today’s contest, the Blue Jays held a four-game lead over the Yankees in the AL East. The remainder of this series could prove crucial in deciding the postseason picture.
