UPDATE: Worthy (shoulder) has now been ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy is questionable to return to Friday’s game vs. the Los Angeles Chargers due to a shoulder injury. Early in the first quarter, he collided with tight end Travis Kelce while running a drag route and fell to the ground before heading to the locker room.

Worthy, a 2024 first-rounder, showed plenty of promise as a rookie with 59 receptions for 638 yards and six touchdowns. He truly emerged as a threat down the home stretch of the season and seems primed for a big sophomore season, especially with fellow Chiefs wideout Rashee Rice serving a suspension.
