Why did Jalen Carter get ejected vs. Cowboys Thursday 9/4/25?

Following the opening kickoff of the 2025 NFL season, an unexpected incident occurred during an injury timeout. Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle Jalen Carter approached the Dallas Cowboys’ huddle and, in a shocking act of unsportsmanlike conduct, spit on quarterback Dak Prescott. The altercation happened directly in front of a game official, resulting in Carter’s immediate ejection from the game.

This is a significant loss for the Eagles, as Carter is arguably their best defensive player, coming off a breakout season in which he earned second-team All-Pro honors and made his first career Pro Bowl.
