Taj Bradley, Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox, $6,500 – What a difference studying makes, right? After apparently looking at scouting reports for the first time in his career last week, Bradley went out and tossed five one-run innings in his second start with the Twins. He struck out six and only allowed a single opponent hit. Hopefully he’s been freshening up on the White Sox in the last 24 hours. Bradley’s raw stuff has never been in question and the 24-year-old does sport a respectable 3.88 xERA across his 23 MLB starts in 2025. If he can flirt with another quality outing against a young White Sox lineup, he’ll certainly bring back value at this modest price point. He definitely has more DFS upside than Logan Allen ($6,000) or Kyle Hendricks ($5,000), too.
INFIELD

Junior Caminero, Tampa Bay Rays vs. Cleveland Guardians, $6,000 – Caminero is one of just three positional assets to be priced at or above $6,000 on this slate, and honestly, he deserves it. The former top prospect clubbed his 40th home run of the season on Tuesday and most of Caminero’s damage has come at George M. Steinbrenner Field, where’s he’s mustered a 1.000 OPS and a 168 wRC+ over 281 plate appearances. Meanwhile, Allen has always been prone to surrendering the long ball, so a trip to Tampa might be nightmare fuel for the southpaw. In his past 15 starts, Allen’s conceded 1.64 home runs per nine to RHBs.

Salvador Perez, Kansas City Royals vs. Los Angeles Angels, $3,900 – It’s not like Perez is having a bad season, but the backstop has been unlucky, and that’s preventing him from what should be an elite season. To wit, Perez’s .368 expected wOBA is 60 points higher than his actual wOBA (.308). Yes, Perez still chases every single pitch outside of the zone, yet he’s still managed to register a 94th percentile expected slugging rate (.548) and a 91st percentile barrel rate (15.1%). Even at 35-years-old, the bat remains legit. Speaking of age, Hendricks has struggled to a 4.89 ERA with the Angels in 2025 and he’s surrendered 2.06 home runs per nine to opposing RHBs.
OUTFIELD

Trent Grisham, New York Yankees at Houston Astros, $4,300 – Doesn’t it feel like Grisham’s price tag should be closer to $5,000 at this point? What else does the 28-year-old have to do? Grisham has thrived versus RHP in 2025, managing a .901 OPS and a 151 wRC+ within the split. Overall, Grisham is in possession of 89th percentile marks in both barrel rate (14.4%) and expected slugging rate (.515) and he’s on the precipice of his first-career 30 home run campaign. Cristian Javier ($6,900) has looked alright since making his return from the IL, but when he struggles, it’s because of LHBs.

Matt Wallner, Minnesota Twins vs. Chicago White Sox, $3,800 – The White Sox will be going with an opener on Thursday, but the team has also re-called Jonathan Cannon ($6,600) to pitch in a bulk role. Let’s just say there was a reason that Cannon was in Triple-A. Aside from a 5.34 ERA and a 5.42 xERA over 96.0 innings, Cannon struggled a great deal with opposing LHBs, surrendering a .388 wOBA within the split. That should be music to the ears of the left-handed Wallner, who happens to possess a career .279 ISO and a 149 wRC+ against right-handed pitching. There’s no shortage of upside with this pick.
