Home runs. Long balls. Bleacher reachers. Whatever you want to call them, people love watching and betting on home run props during baseball games. So much so, we’ve got a whole article dedicated to just that.
It’s a small MLB slate on Thursday — and there miiiiiight be something else going on in the sports world — but allow me to suggest three bets on the DraftKings Sportsbook: Junior Caminero, Bobby Witt Jr. and Trent Grisham.
Top Home Run Props on DraftKings Sportsbook
Junior Caminero 1+ Home Run (+260)
While the Rays as a team have not hit left-handed pitching all that well in 2025, handedness doesn’t seem to matter when George M. Steinbrenner Field is involved. The Yankees’ spring training site has played as the third-easiest place to hit a home run this season according to Baseball Savant’s Park Factors and Junior Caminero has certainly reaped the benefits. The former top prospect has hit 21 of his 40 long balls in Tampa, all while slashing a jaw-dropping .328/.367/.643 with a .305 ISO. In fact, Caminero’s .634 slugging percentage within the split is the third-highest qualified mark in MLB, trailing only the likes of Aaron Judge and Kyle Schwarber. He’ll look to add to those impressive numbers on Thursday in a matchup with Logan Allen, who is surrendering 1.64 home runs per nine to RHBs over his last 15 starts.
Bobby Witt Jr. 1+ Home Run (+320)
It’s been a slightly disappointing campaign for Witt, especially after a runner-up finish in AL MVP voting in 2024. The largest area of concern? The fact that Witt’s home run total has fallen from 32 last season to just 20 so far in 2025. At the same time, Witt still possesses 95th percentile average exit velocity (93.4) and a 91st percentile expected slugging rate (.524). His “slightly disappointing” is most people’s career year. On Thursday, Witt and the Royals will square-off with the contact-oriented Kyle Hendricks. To say that both of these men have reserve home run splits would be an understatement. Witt’s hit all but one of his long balls this season off RHPs, while Hendricks is conceding 2.06 home runs per nine to opposing RHBs. You can see where I’m going with this.
Trent Grisham 1+ Home Run (+380)
There is no doubt about how you should attack Cristian Javier. Throughout the RHP’s career, Javier has been able to shut down opposing right-handed bats, limiting them to a .158 average and a .250 wOBA. That means we’re definitely backing a left-handed home run prop in the Yankees’ lineup on Thursday evening, and Trent Grisham’s name is the first that springs to mind. Grisham has destroyed righty pitchers in 2025, managing a .901 OPS and a 151 wRC+ within the split. His advanced numbers are also bordering on elite, as the 28-year-old outfielder comes into tonight’s tilt in possession of 89th percentile marks in both barrel rate (14.4%) and expected slugging rate (.515). In short, I think there’s a pretty good chance that Grisham has his first-career 30 home run campaign by the time Javier exits this contest.
