Caitlin Clark was one of the most hyped WNBA prospects, and she delivered in her rookie season, averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds, 8.4 assists, 1.3 steals, 0.7 blocks and 3.1 treys while shooting 34% from downtown and 90% from the line in 40 games. She won Rookie of the Year and came fourth in the MVP voting.

Clark’s sophomore season didn’t go so well, averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists, 1.6 steals, 0.5 blocks and 2.2 treys while shooting 28% from downtown and 82% from the line. Clark only played 13 games due to a quad strain and injuries to both groins.

On Thursday, Clark announced that she will not be returning to play for the rest of the season.
