On the schedule for Wednesday is a two-game WNBA slate. The Dream are hosting the Sparks and the Sky are hosting the Sun. Below, I have featured three of my favorite WNBA player prop bets for these contests on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Top WNBA Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Brionna Jones 20+ Points and Rebounds (-110)
Ever since the Dream decided to move Brittney Griner to the bench, Jones has been excellent as the Dream’s starting center. With Griner coming off the bench for the last 10 games, Jones is averaging 13.0 points and 7.2 rebounds in 24.8 minutes per game while shooting 54.1% from the field. During this span, Jones is handling a 21.3% usage rate, a 30.3% rebound percentage and she has posted at least 20 PR in seven of these 10 starts.
Facing a Sparks team that ranks first in pace and 10th in defensive rating this season, Jones should reach 20 PR with ease, possibly with a double-double.
Leila Lacan 12+ Points (-110)
Lacan has scored at least 17 points in three of her last four games and Bria Hartley (knee) is done for the season, leaving Lacan with an expanded role. With Hartley inactive this season, Lacan handles a 24.2% usage rate, which is a huge increase from her 18.1% average for the season.
Lacan is going against a terrible Sky team that ranks second-to-last in defensive rating this season and the rookie should effortlessly reach 12 points in this spot.
Kamilla Cardoso U 9.5 Rebounds (-125)
Cardoso has been held to nine rebounds or less in all three of her matchups with the Sun this season and we should expect a similar result from the center in tonight’s fourth and final matchup with Connecticut this season. Cardoso was a dominant rebounder with Angel Reese (back) sidelined this summer, but with the forward healthy again, Cardoso has far less upside on the glass.
This season, Cardoso is averaging 7.7 rebounds per game with Reese active (25 games), compared to 10.1 rebounds per game with the All-Star inactive (10 games).
