The US Open continues on Wednesday as the quarterfinals come to a close. There are some great matches on Wednesday, headlined by Jannik Sinner, Naomi Osaka and Iga Swiatek.
These are my US Open best bets to target on DraftKings Sportsbook for the quarterfinals of the US Open.
US Open Quarterfinals Best Bets
Jannik Sinner vs. Lorenzo Musetti: Sinner to win 3:0 (-150)
Jannik Sinner is the No. 1 player in the world and he is playing like it at the 2025 US Open. On the men’s side of the tournament, Sinner leads the field in break points won and has demolished all of his opponents. Through four matches, he has only dropped one set. In the Round of 16, he defeated Alexander Bublik 6-1, 6-1, 6-1. After winning two Grand Slams already this season and making the final in the third, he is on a mission to win his second straight US Open. Lorenzo Musetti is a quality player, but in the two career matches between the two Italians, Sinner has never dropped a set. He should keep his perfect form going and take down Musetti in straight sets.
Felix Auger Aliassime vs. Alex de Minaur: Auger Aliassime ML (+120)
This is a massive match for both of these players. Alex de Minaur has made the quarterfinals in four of the past six majors, but he has never broken through to the semifinals. Meanwhile, Felix Auger Aliassime is hoping to make his second-ever major semifinal. Auger Aliassime is finally getting back to his form from 2021 and 2022. During that stretch, he was considered one of the brightest young stars in the sport, making at least the fourth round in six out of seven Grand Slams, including the 2021 US Open semifinals. My best bet is on Auger Aliassime to win this match. He has finally found that form again, while de Minaur unfortunately seems to have a ceiling on his game. Once he reaches these quarterfinals, he is unable to take it a step further. Auger Aliassime leads the US Open field in first serve return points won and should handle de Minaur’s serve better than anyone has so far, propelling him to victory.
Iga Swiatek vs. Amanda Anisimova: Iga Swiatek to win 2:0 (-120)
Iga Swiatek and Amanda Anisimova face off in a rematch of the 2025 Wimbledon Final. The most recent Grand Slam was massive for both of these players. Amanda Anisimova made her first-ever Grand Slam final after a very up-and-down first few years of her career. However, Anisimova was also massively humbled by not winning a single game in the final. Meanwhile, Swiatek finally got back to the top of the sport after sliding down the rankings over the past couple of years. Anisimova should put up a much better fight this time around, but Swiatek is in great form and just at a level higher than Anisimova at this moment in time. Anisimova had another strong Grand Slam performance and has a bright future, but Swiatek is out for another trophy and should take Anisimova down in two sets.
Karolina Muchova vs. Naomi Osaka: Osaka to win 2:1 (+250)
Naomi Osaka is desperate to get back on top of the tennis world. Osaka broke onto the scene at the 2018 US Open, defeating the GOAT, Serena Williams, at just 20 years old to win her first major. She won three more majors, including another US Open, over the next three years, before facing mental health issues, a pregnancy and time away from the sport. However, she returned to tennis in 2024 and has been working her way back to her old form. After upsetting Coco Gauff, she is back in a Grand Slam quarterfinal for the first time since the 2021 Australian Open. Incredibly, Osaka has won all four Grand Slams in which she has made it to the quarterfinals. I am backing her to make it at least one more round, defeating Karolina Muchova two sets to one. These two faced off in the Australian Open earlier this year, where Osaka won in three sets. She should get the same result in this one and move on to the semifinals.
