Emeka Egbuka MORE Than 57.5 Receiving Yards at Falcons
The darling of fantasy football managers (and fans) of this year’s rookie class, Egbuka was drafted into a seemingly crowded receiving room, but has quickly ascended to the role of clear No. 2 wideout for Baker Mayfield thanks to injuries.
Don’t be mistaken though, the 19th overall pick isn’t making my pick set out of target share necessity, Egbuka looks primed to break out on the biggest stage right away. An elite route-runner, the Ohio State product should slip seamlessly into Chris Godwin’s role, taking advantage of 1-on-1 matchups in intermediate range while Mike Evans draws attention deep.
The Bucs want their gunslinger in action early and often under center, which means Egbuka should see no shortage of looks in his NFL debut.
Chase Brown MORE Than 93.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards at Browns
A lot of people are going to target Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow in this matchup, but I think game script will actually favor Cincy’s running game. After managing nothing more than miniscule contributions in Year 1, Brown took control of the backfield and didn’t look back last season. The former fifth-round pick racked up 229 carries for 990 yards, also tallying 54 receptions for 360 yards.
Considering the significant talent gap between these two squads, I think there’s a strong chance the Bengals will find themselves up comfortably by the early third quarter. Burrow will still produce through the air, but his dual-threat running back should see a ton of action throughout the contest. The Bengals have built their rushing attack around Brown, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him record 25-plus touches in the season-opener. If that happens, finishing with more than 93.5 rushing and receiving yards should be a breeze.

Ashton Jeanty MORE Than 16.5 Rushing Attempts at Patriots
Here are a few truths heading into Ashton Jeanty’s NFL debut:
- You don’t draft a running sixth overall if you aren’t planning on feeding him immediately.
- Pete Carroll wants to establish the run. Then he wants to re-establish it. Wash, rinse, repeat.
The Patriots spent a lot of money bolstering their defensive line this offseason, and Mike Vrabel’s unit boasts quite a few highly talented run-stoppers. That’s why I’m avoiding Jeanty’s rushing yards number, instead pivoting for his total rushing attempts. Carroll wants to set the tone on the ground to open up play action for Geno Smith and his top two weapons, Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers. One of the most dominant workhorse backs in college football history, Jeanty is more than prepared to handle a large workload right away on Sunday.
Jonathan Taylor MORE Than 17.5 Rushing Attempts vs. Dolphins
Shocker, I’m going right back to a “more than” rushing attempts pick for an offense that is expected to heavily feature their star back. To put it nicely about Daniel Jones, Shane Steichen does not want to see him throw the ball 35 times a game. That would mean things have gone downhill very early into the contest.
Instead, Steichen wants to pound the rock as much as possible while chewing and controlling clock against a more talented opponent. Jonathan Taylor only played in 14 games last year but still totalled over 300 carries on the year. He should clear the 20-carry mark with relative ease in Week 1.
Tetairoa McMillan MORE Than 65.5 Receiving Yards at Jaguars
A second rookie receiver make an appearance! While everyone is gushing over Egbuka (and rightfully so) it actually feels like the player who was drafted eighth overall is flying slightly under the radar.
McMillan was an absolute force at Arizona, and his body is NFL-ready at 6’5, 219 pounds. Comparing him to Mike Evans may be a little lofty, but that feels like the sort of impact Tet could provide for Carolina’s offense. McMillan took no time establishing himself as the go-to guy for Bryce Young, who quietly re-emerged as an above-average quarterback in the second half of last season. The Jagars allowed the most passing yards in the league in 2024, priming McMillan to make an instant impact in his NFL debut.
Nico Collins MORE Than 76.5 Receiving Yards at Rams
Collins’ production dropped off over the last few games of the 2024 season, mostly thanks to some severely underwhelming quarterback play. However, heading into this year fresh, the superstar receiver is primed to remind people that he belongs in the conversation about the top three WRs in the NFL.
Collins was a force to be reckoned with in the opening quarter of last year before going down with an injury, recording more than 76.5 receiving yards in each of Houston’s first five matchups. With Stefon Diggs gone and Tank Dell out, Collins could handle an even larger target share than last year.
The Texans are going to have to throw the ball a lot to outduel a tough Rams squad, and it all starts with the big man on the outside.
