Wings vs. Lynx prediction
It doesn’t get much more lopsided than this matchup. The Lynx are the No. 1 seed, having already clinched a playoff berth for a while now. Meanwhile, the Wings are in last and eliminated from postseason contention.
This isn’t much of a surprise to anyone as Dallas had the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 draft and is going through a rebuild. Paige Bueckers has been excellent in her rookie season, but the wins aren’t piling up yet.
Minnesota, on the other hand, lost Game 5 in the WNBA Finals last year. If a couple plays went differently, the team would have won the title — it was that close.
Ultimately, this game is meaningless as the Lynx already clinched the best record in the league, and the Wings are limping to the finish line. Neither side has much to play for, but it’ll be an opportunity for players to get reps before the playoffs — or the offseason for Dallas.

If the team slows down, it can cost them in the postseason, potentially spoiling a title run. The Lynx will come out sharp and dominate the Wings.
