The No. 6 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish open up the season in a primetime Sunday night matchup at Hard Rock Stadium against the No. 10 ranked Miami Hurricanes. The Irish are priced as short road favorites, but expect to attract a pretty good crowd of Notre Dame fans. The total, which opened 54.5 has been heavily bet to the under. This is a high stakes game between two teams that have College Football Playoff hopes. Notre Dame (+1100) is among the favorites to win the National Championship, while Miami (+4000) is hopeful to get into the field. The outcome of this game will have significant impact on multiple futures markets, as well as CFP indications.
