The US Open continues on Saturday as the third round comes to a close. There are some exciting matches on Saturday, headlined by Jannik Sinner, Iga Swiatek and Coco Gauff.

US Open Third Round Best Bets
Jannik Sinner vs. Denis Shapovalov: Shapovalov U10.5 games won (-105)
Jannik Sinner has been the best tennis player in the world this year. He has made the final at all three Grand Slams so far this season, winning two of them. He is also the reigning champion here at the US Open and has a great chance to defend his title. He has been playing like a man on a mission through the first two rounds. His opening round opponent only won four games across three sets, while his second round opponent only won seven games in three sets. Sinner has demolished his opponents so far and should keep that going against Denis Shapovalov. Shapovalov should be a tougher test than either of Sinner’s first two opponents, but he has struggled at majors over the past couple of years, not making it out of the third round since Wimbledon in 2023.
Coco Gauff vs. Magdalena Frech: Frech ML (+650)
Coco Gauff is an incredible player, proving her greatness by winning the French Open earlier this year. She is also a former winner at the US Open, where she broke onto the scene as a major champion at just 19 years old. However, Gauff has been struggling with her game so far at the US Open. Gauff struggled in the opening round against Ajla Tomljanovic, winning 7-5 in the third set to survive an early upset. She was then in tears in the middle of her second-round matchup due to pure frustration over her struggling game. She showed great resilience to fight through those emotions and handle business in two sets. However, there is serious concern over Gauff’s form at the moment. Gauff is tied for the most double-faults so far at this tournament among women who have only played two matches. Magdalena Frech has defeated the past two top-ten players she has faced, Mirra Andreeva and Emma Navarro, so she is capable of a massive upset like this.
Iga Swiatek vs. Anna Kalinskaya: Swiatek to win 2:1 (+300)
Iga Swiatek has been back to her old self over the past few months. The former World No. 1 had seen a dip in form, but was starting to find her game before winning the Wimbledon title. She now hopes to add another major title before the year is done. Swiatek is a former winner at the US Open, although hardcourt has never been her preferred surface. She has just one major title between the US Open and Australian Open, but has five major titles between Wimbledon and the French Open. Anna Kalinskaya could be a tough matchup for Swiatek. She currently ranks No. 26 in the world and defeated Swiatek in Dubai on hardcourt last season. Swiatek did just defeat Kalinskaya at the Cincinnati Open earlier this month, so there is recent history between the two. It took Swiatek three sets to defeat Suzan Lamens in the second round, and I expect a similar result here. Kalinskaya is a tough opponent and has a great chance to take a set, but Swiatek should come out on top.
