Opening odds for Valentina Shevchenko vs. Zhang Weili at UFC 322

After a three-year reign as UFC Women’s Strawweight Champion, Zhang Weili is moving up to 125 pounds to take on the Flyweight queen, Valentina Shevchenko, at UFC 322. Even though Shevchenko is 37 years old and Weili is 36, this is a bout between the two current greatest women’s fighters in the world. This fight is the co-main event of this UFC 322 card, taking place on November 15 at Madison Square Garden.

Shevchenko is in her second reign as Flyweight Champion and has 10 title victories with eight title defenses. This matchup has been a dream fight for many years, and it finally comes to fruition at UFC 322. Shevchenko has opened as a slight favorite at -115, with Weili being a -105 underdog on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Weili has six title wins, with her last defeat in a championship bout coming against Rose Namajunas in 2021. There have been 10 fighters who have previously won a title in two divisions. Weili joins Islam Makhachev on UFC 322, attempting to become a two-division champion.
