Georgia Tech at Colorado: Haynes King Anytime TD Scorer (-150)
Haynes King has been great in two seasons as the Georgia Tech starting quarterback. He is one of the most underrated dual-threat quarterbacks in the nation and should put on a show in 2025 with the amount of experience he has in Brent Key’s offense. Last season, the Yellow Jackets ranked 26th in the nation in rushing yards per game and scored touchdowns on 87% of their red zone drives. Those numbers are so good because of the duo of King and running back Jamal Haynes in the backfield. They are equally shifty close to the goal line and defenses never know which one of them is going to try to carry the ball into the end zone. King has 21 rushing touchdowns over the past two seasons, and they will rely on his legs when in doubt. He should find his way into the end zone in this season opener against a Colorado defense full of new faces.
Georgia Tech at Colorado: Jamal Haynes 80+ Rushing Yards (+107)
Haynes is back, alongside King, for another year at Georgia Tech. There is a lot of excitement around this team because of this exciting duo. Haynes rushed for over 2,000 yards over the past two seasons and is looking to have a huge senior season. Despite his great numbers, there were games in which the Yellow Jackets relied heavily on King and the passing game, limiting Haynes’ action. In seven out of 13 games last season, Haynes ran for 75 or more yards. Colorado had a lot of turnover from last year’s team, not just Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, but some of their top defensive linemen, linebackers and safeties as well. This defense could take some time to gel with so many new pieces, allowing Haynes to run wild and get over this number.
Baylor vs. Auburn: Sawyer Robertson 3+ Passing Touchdowns (+172)
Sawyer Robertson is one of the most unheralded quarterbacks in the nation. He had a breakout 2024 season, throwing for over 3,000 yards and 28 touchdowns in his first season as a full-time starter. He was one of only 15 quarterbacks in the country to hit both of those marks last season. Of those 15 quarterbacks, only Robertson, Cade Klubnik and Garrett Nussmeier will be back at the same program this season. While Klubnik and Nussmeier are Heisman favorites, Robertson is flying under the radar. That likely won’t be the case if he puts on a show against Auburn. There were six regular-season games last season where Robertson threw at least 25 pass attempts. In five of those six games, Robertson threw at least three touchdown passes. Baylor will need to be aggressive through the air to beat Auburn, meaning Robertson has a great chance to hit that mark once again, making this a high-value bet at +172.
