Thomas has been unstoppable as the Mercury close out the regular season and look to improve their seed for the playoffs. The veteran is averaging a near triple-double of 16.6 points, 11 rebounds and 9.1 assists per game since the All-Star break. During this span, Thomas is the WNBA’s leader in assists and her colossal 51.3% assist percentage is the highest in the league by a solid margin.

Thomas has racked up double-digit assists in six of her last 10 starts. She now meets a Sky team that has been putrid since the All-Star break, ranking last in net rating by a mile.

Chicago unsurprisingly ranks last in defensive rating during this stretch, and Thomas has exceeded 9.5 assists in two of her three matchups with the Sky this season, including a 15-assist outing. Thomas should have no trouble posting double-digit assists again tonight.
