The Main Event of Week 3 of Dana White’s Contender Series features a Middleweight bout between Trent Miller vs. Ryan Gandra. Miller has a record of 8-2 while Gandra is 7-1 in his MMA career. This is Miller’s third fight in 2025, while Gandra hasn’t competed since November 2024.

Here is my best bet for the Main Event of Week 3 Season 9 of Dana White’s Contender Series.

Trent Miller Moneyline (+260)

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Miller is a +260 underdog as Gandra is a -360 favorite.

Miller trains at Xteme Couture with elite Head Coach Eric Nicksick. At Xtreme Couture, Miller trains with former Middleweight Champion Sean Strickland and Chris Curtis, among others. This past week at UFC Shanghai, one of Nicksick’s fighters, Johnny Walker, pulled off a big upset against Zhang Mingyang. Walker was a +295 underdog against Mingyang.

Getting someone like Miller, who comes from a good team and has seven finishes in his career at +260, is an excellent value play. Gandra has won seven straight bouts but could have a slow start due to his recent inactivity.
