The New York Liberty are hosting the Connecticut Sun on Monday. On DraftKings Sportsbook, New York is favored by 14.5 points and the game presents a total of 167.5 points.

Below, I have featured my favorite Sabrina Ionescu prop bet to consider from this contest.

Best Sabrina Ionescu Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Sabrina Ionescu U 16.5 Points (-120)

There are many reasons to back Ionescu for this under. First off, she is currently dealing with a foot injury that forced her to miss Saturday’s loss to the Dream, so Ionescu being somewhat limited tonight wouldn’t be a surprise. Second, the All-Star has been inefficient recently. Having a strong scoring performance tonight feels unlikely given her foot injury and that the Sun have been great defensively as of late, ranking third in defensive rating since the All-Star break.

Ionescu is only averaging 14.9 PPG in her last eight starts while shooting an ugly 34.3% from the field. Plus, she has fallen short of 16.5 points in six of these eight games. Lastly, Breanna Stewart (knee) will be making her anticipated return tonight after missing the Liberty’s past 13 games, so the former MVP’s presence naturally will take some opportunities away from Ionescu. This season, Stewart is handling a high 25.5% usage rate.

While Ionescu is averaging 25.7 PPG vs. Connecticut this season across three games, things are much different for both teams this time around and she should fall short of 16.5 points Monday.
