The Premier League has returned and we are already in the second gameweek of action. Leeds will travel to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday to face Arsenal at 12:30 p.m. ET, as both teams look for their second win of the season.
Arsenal and Leeds both won their opening matches 1-0 and will be looking for six points out of six to start the campaign. On paper, this game should be lopsided, but that’s the beauty of the Premier League. Three points are never easy to come by.

This bet can be found under the “Game Props” tab. I am taking both teams not to score in this one, as I have a feeling that Arsenal will keep their second clean sheet in a row.
The Gunners have had the best defense in the Premier League for two straight seasons, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they can claim that once again this season. They conceded 29 goals in the 2023-24 season and then 34 last season. After keeping a clean sheet in the opening match against Man United, they look primed for another great defensive display in 2025-26. The back four from the last few seasons is still intact, which only makes them even more reliable.
In the last five matchups between these teams going back to 2021, the Gunners have won all five matchups, but have only kept two clean sheets. Leeds only scored three times in the five games, but it’s hard to use these previous results as context for Saturday’s match because Leeds have been in the Championship for the last two seasons, meaning these teams haven’t played each other since April of 2023. The last time Leeds were in the Premier League, they only kept five clean sheets in 38 games.
Playing Everton at home to start the season was great for them to get their season off and running, but things will be much more difficult for them in this one. Arsenal’s new signings Viktor Gyökeres and Noni Madueke had questionable debuts in the opening match against Man United and will be looking for this game to be their coming out party.
Arsenal are the far superior side and have the best defense in the country. I expect the Gunners to give Leeds a warm welcome back to the top division with a dominant defensive performance, and likely three points.
