DraftKings WNBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks: Top Plays for Saturday 8/23/25

WNBA action on Saturday will kick off at 2:00 p.m. ET. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is WNBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball.

This article will examine my top WNBA Pick6 plays for today’s action. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage ready, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA Pick6 slate.

A’ja Wilson More Than 22.5 Points Scored

In a season full of incredible storylines, the Las Vegas Aces’ turnaround may be the top story. They’ve won 11 of their last 12 games, vaulting from a playoff-bubble squad to the third seed. And A’ja Wilson has naturally been at the heart of things.

Over those dozen games, Wilson is putting up 24.3 points per game on 50% shooting. It’s launched her back into the MVP conversation while Napheesa Collier has been sidelined. Once a -600 favorite, Collier is down to -200 with Wilson at +160. And Saturday’s game will only boost her case.

This Washington Mystics defense is suspect at best following the departure of Brittney Sykes. Wilson has scored 23+ points in six of her last eight contests. Kiki Iriafen and Shakira Austin can be scrappy defenders, but A’ja is playing transcendent basketball yet again. Make her a fixture in your WNBA Pick6 lineups.

Emma Meesseman Less Than 24.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

With Breanna Stewart out of the lineup, Emma Meesseman’s signing has been a coup for the Liberty. Her versatile skill set fills some of the gaps Stewie has left behind, providing them with another key piece for the title defense. A starter from the get-go, she scored double-digit points in her first eight games with New York—an impressive feat for a 32-year-old coming off a two-year WNBA layoff.

But this Atlanta defense is going to be a severe test for the entire Liberty squad. They boast a strong starting group, excellent bench pieces, and an effective defensive formula. Atlanta allows the fewest three-pointers and second-fewest free throws per game. Most importantly for our purposes, they allow the fewest total rebounds per game. This hampers many of Meesseman’s strengths, giving me enough confidence to fade her.

Kiki Iriafen More Than 9.5 Rebounds

Washington knew they were getting a talent when they drafted Kiki Iriafen. A hard-nosed rebounder, plucky defender, and solid paint scorer fits with any team. But even the most ardent Kiki stans didn’t expect a rookie-year All-Star performance. And she’s taking things to a new level recently.

Iriafen has wrangled double-digit rebounds in six straight games. It’s the longest such streak of her rookie year. And while you may think playing A’ja Wilson and the Aces would limit her potential, you’d be wrong. In three games against the Aces this season, Iriafen has collected eight, nine, and 13 rebounds.

It’s not the flashiest pick on the board. But Iriafen has been a dependable Pick6 fixture this season, and that will continue on Saturday.
