Here are my top Pick6 plays for today’s MLB slate.
Bobby Witt Jr. More Than 1.5 Total Bases
Bobby Witt Jr. is quietly having another superb season in Kansas City. He isn’t contending for the AL MVP like he did last season, but Witt was an AL All-Star and has the Royals in the mix for a Wild Card spot. Witt has accrued 5.2 WAR this season, the sixth-best mark in all of baseball. He ranks 14th in runs scored, 13th in batting average and leads the MLB in doubles. The MLB’s doubles leader should be able to register another extra-base hit today against Patrick Corbin and the Rangers. Witt is 5/9 with a double and a home run in his career against Corbin. Witt has a .323 batting average and an .853 OPS against lefties this season. Corbin has been struggling as of late, with an ERA of 9.20 over his past four starts. Witt should generate power against Corbin and register more than 1.5 total bases.
Brice Turang More Than 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs
Brice Turang is having a career-best season at the plate. He has a .280 batting average and a .763 OPS this season. He has been even better since the All-Star Break. Over the past 26 games, he has been batting .300 with a .943 OPS. Turang has even found some serious power over the past couple of weeks, which he usually doesn’t possess. Over his last 15 games, he has seven home runs, 16 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He should keep that rolling today against Shota Imanaga. Imanaga has had a solid season, but has had a few struggles over the past month. In his past five starts, he has a 4.82 ERA, including two starts where he didn’t make it past five innings. Turang should be able to get a run scored or drive one in against the Cubs and get over this number.
Jeff McNeil More Than 0.5 Singles
Jeff McNeil has been one of the better hitters for the Mets this season. Juan Soto is one of the league’s best hitters, and Pete Alonso is having one of the best seasons of his career. However, McNeil ranks third in OPS on the Mets after those two elite batters. He has shown incredible discipline at the plate. He ranks second among 13 eligible Mets hitters in walk percentage and ranks last in strikeout percentage. The former NL batting champion finds ways to get on base, which he has proven in his career against MacKenzie Gore. McNeil is 8/12 in his career against Gore, and all eight hits have been singles. Gore has struggled as of late, with a 7.08 ERA over his past four starts. McNeil should keep his run going with another single against Gore.

Create a Pick Set by choosing 2+ players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice, and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
