White Sox at Braves game delayed due to rain Monday 8/18/25

The start of Monday’s game between the White Sox and Braves will be delayed due to rain. The game was originally slated to start at 7:15 p.m. ET, but will now start at 7:30 p.m. ET. Just a slight delay and then we should be ready to get the action started at Truist Park.

The Braves are -212 favorites on the moneyline for this one, with the White Sox +172 underdogs on DraftKings Sportsbook. The run total is set at O/U 9. Yoendrys Gomez is getting only his second start of the season for the White Sox, while Spencer Strider will be on the mound for Atlanta. Strider has struggled in limited action this season, posting a 4.69 ERA in 16 games played.
