Brewers at Cubs Game 2 postponed Monday 8/18/25

The Brewers and Cubs were scheduled to play twice on Monday, but only played once due to inclement weather. Milwaukee won the first matchup of the day 7-0 and was looking for its second win of the day. Game 2 was scheduled for 8:05 p.m. ET, but unfortunately, that will have to wait until Tuesday as these teams will once again be scheduled for a doubleheader.

Chad Patrick was slated to start for the Brewers, while Jameson Taillon was scheduled to start for Chicago.

Matthew Boyd is expected to get the starting nod for Chicago in Game 1 on Tuesday before handing off the responsibilities to Taillon for Game 2. For Milwaukee, it’s still unclear who will pitch in what game, but Brandon Woodruff was originally slated to start Tuesday night’s game.
