Jackson Merrill left Sunday’s game against the Dodgers in the fourth inning. The reason for his exit is currently unknown.
Merrill struck out swinging in the top of the fourth, and Gavin Sheets subbed in during the bottom of the fourth. Sheets is playing left field and Ramon Laureano shifted to center.
Merrill finished the game 0-2 with two strikeouts.
