An exciting fight on the UFC 319 Prelims features Edson Barboza vs. Drakkar Klose in a Lightweight bout. Barboza is a 15-year UFC veteran and is competing for the first time since May 2024. Which fighter will bounce back after losing their previous fight?

Here is my best bet for Edson Barboza vs. Drakkar Klose at UFC 319.

Edson Barboza Moneyline (-130)

On paper, Barboza has the edge, boasting a five-inch reach advantage (75″ vs. 70″) while being two inches taller (5’11” vs. 5’9″). Klose lands more takedowns per 15 minutes and more significant strikes per minute. But Barboza is the better defensive fighter on the feet and the ground while being more accurate in takedown attempts.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Barboza is a -130 favorite, with Klose being a +110 underdog.

Barboza has won two of his last three contests with his latest victory coming against Sodiq Yusuff in October 2023. In this matchup, Barboza needs to display his elite defense on the feet while controlling the pace of the bout. Barboza has fought two UFC Champions throughout his career and will make his 31st walk to the Octagon tonight. Klose is talented, but this is a step down in competition for Barboza.
