Best Harry Hall prop bet for the BMW Championship

The PGA TOUR heads to Caves Valley Golf Club (par 70, 7,601 yards, bentgrass greens) in Owings Mills, Maryland, for the BMW Championship, which is the second of three events for the FedEx Cup Playoffs. The top-50 players in the FedEx Cup standings will be competing at the BMW Championship and then, the top-30 players in the standings following this event will advance to the TOUR Championship next week.

Below, I have featured one of my favorite Harry Hall bets to consider for the BMW Championship.

Harry Hall Over 3.5 birdies in the first round (-130)

Harry Hall has never competed at Caves Valley before, but the Englishman is an elite birdie maker and should surpass 3.5 birdies in Thursday’s opening round at the BMW Championship. This season, Hall has moved himself up from 108th to 65th in the world golf rankings, thanks to 13 top-25 finishes in 23 starts. Hall has been a wizard on the greens, leading the PGA TOUR in SGP and as a result, he also leads the circuit with 4.55 birdies per round.

Hall ranks third in first round scoring average and he has exceeded 3.5 birdies in the first round of 14 of his 23 starts, including six opening round birdies at TPC Southwind for last week’s FedEx St. Jude Championship.

After playing as a par 72 for the 2021 BMW Championship, Caves Valley will play as a traditional par 70 this week with 12 par fours, putting a heavy emphasis on par four scoring. This season, Hall ranks second only to Scottie Scheffler in par four performance and Hall ranks fifth among this field in birdies at par 70s.
