Tigers at White Sox game delayed due to rain Tuesday 8/12/25

UPDATE: Tigers at White Sox is expected to begin at 8:30 p.m. EST.

Tuesday evening’s matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox has been delayed due to rain.

The contest initially saw a start time of 7:40 p.m. EST but inclement weather will keep things from getting started in a punctual manner. A new start time hasn’t yet been announced.

DraftKings Sportsbook lists the Tigers as -185 favorites on the Moneyline while the White Sox hold +150 ML odds. The run total sits at 8.5.

Chicago’s Yoendrys Gomez (6.62 ERA, 1.87 WHIP, 13 SO) makes his first start of the season in just his 13th appearance. Jack Flaherty (4.56 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 147 SO) starts for the Tigers this evening.
