Justin Rose won the FedEx St. Jude Championship last week after a thrilling three-hole sudden-death playoff against U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun.
Now, the top 50 golfers on the PGA TOUR FedExCup points list will advance to the second playoff event of 2025 at the BMW Championship. The field will be reduced to 49 players, however, as Sepp Straka has withdrawn from the tournament due to a private matter.
Scottie Scheffler is once again the favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, sitting at +230 odds. Rory McIlroy is back in the field after missing last week’s tournament and he has the second-best odds to win at +750. Ryder Cup captain and 2024 BMW Championship winner Keegan Bradley is also in the field with +4000 odds to repeat as a champion at this event.
This year’s BMW Championship will take place at Caves Valley Golf Club in Maryland from August 14-17.
Once this week has concluded, the top 30 golfers on the points list will advance to the season finale at the TOUR Championship.
