Will Cowboys Recover in 2025? NFL Predictions, Betting Splits for Dallas

Nothing to see here. All is well with the Cowboys, per usual.

Seriously though, there’s never a dull moment in Dallas.

Plenty of interesting betting options surrounding this team on DraftKings Sportsbook, but we’re going to kick off this breakdown with a look at the one player on the Cowboys roster who wants out.

Micah Parsons Next Team

The Cowboys still have the shortest odds in this market at -300. They’ve also received the most handle, accounting for 29% โ€” indicating this is also a sharp play. We know that because the third-most popular team (Seattle) in terms of percentage of bets has only seen eight percent of the best and Dallas is is not among the top three teams in terms of greatest percentage of bets

The Eagles and Bears are the other two popular options in this market. Philly has seen 17% of the handle (third-most) on 22% of the bets (most). Chicago has taken 18% of the handle (second-most) on 19% of the bets (second-most).

Also, Parsons is +750 to be named Defensive Player of the Year. Despite all the chaos surrounding him at the moment, he’s seen 11% of the handle and bets in this market.

Cowboys Win Total

Dallas went into the 2024 season with a 10.5 win total, which they went under. This year, that number has dropped all the way to 7.5.

Both the sharps and the public have taken advantage of this dip. On 75% of the bets, the over on the Cowboys’ win total has seen 84% of the bets.

Notable Player Prop Splits

There are some really nice leans with a few of the season-long player props available for Cowboys players.

The over on Dak Prescott’s Regular Season Passing Yards prop has a sharp lean to it. Set at 3850.5, the over on that number has seen 76% of the handle on 59% of the bets. As for his Regular Season Passing TDs prop, which is set at 26.5, the under has seen 51% of the handle on 13% of the bets.

Newcomer George Pickens has a Regular Season Receiving Yards total of 900.5. The under on that has taken in 26% of the bets on 11% of the handle. Similarly, the under on Javonte Williams’ Regular Season Rushing Yards prop (500.5) has seen 97% of the handle on 58% of the bets.

Those looking for CeeDee Lamb picks, both of his props are also among the Dallas betting options that have sharp under leans:

  • Lamb’s Regular Season Receiving Yards prop is set at 1200.5. The under has taken in 19% of the handle on 12% of the bets
  • His Regular Season Receiving TDs total is 7.5. On just three percent of the bets, 19% of the handle has been placed on the under.

Jake Ferguson provides Cowboys fans with a potential over play, given the over on his Regular Season Receiving Yards total (550.5) has taken in 99% of the handle on 99% of the bets.

While the data above will help you with season-long plays, the following stats produced by Lamb, Williams, Pickens and Ferguson in 2024 are instead applicable to gameday player props.

  • CeeDee Lamb
    • Receptions: 9-6 to the over
  • Javonte Williams (with Denver)
    • Rushing Yards: 11-5 to the under
    • Rush Attempts: 10-5 to the under
  • George Pickens (with Pittsburgh)
    • Receiving Yards: 9-6 to the over
  • Jake Ferguson
    • Receiving Yards: 9-5 to the under
    • Receptions: 8-6 to the under
