An exciting flyweight matchup between Tatsuro Taira vs. HyunSung Park headlines this week’s UFC Fight Night. Park stepped up on a few days’ notice to take on Taira after Amir Albazi pulled out of the contest.

Here is my best bet for Taira vs. Park at tonight’s UFC Fight Night.

Tatsuro Taira to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (-110)

At 25 years old, Taira is still a top prospect in the flyweight division even after losing to Brandon Royval. He began his career with 16 consecutive victories, a remarkable achievement. Now he has a significant opportunity to get back on track against Albazi.

Both fighters are 5’7″, but Taira has a four-inch larger standing reach (70″ vs. 66″). Park is skilled, but Taira is the all-around better fighter. Taira averages more takedowns per 15 minutes while being more efficient on the feet.

If Taira wants to bounce back, he needs to display a more aggressive attack early in this contest. In his matchup against Royval, he was too passive, allowing Royval to dictate the pace of the bout. With Taira being a -325 favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook, the better value is to get him to win by KO/TKO/DQ or submission at -110. In his career, 12 of Taira’s 16 wins have been by finish, with four of his last five coming via KO/TKO or submission.
