Pirates at Rockies game delayed due to rain Saturday 8/2/25

Saturday afternoon’s matchup between the Pittsburgh Pirates and Colorado Rockies is in a rain delay.

The game made it to the eighth inning before inclement weather forced a stoppage with the tarp brought out to cover the field. No update has been announced yet regarding a time for resumption.

At the time the delay was called, the Rockies were up 7-4, tallying four earned runs off Pittsburgh star Paul Skenes.

Betting lines are currently frozen, but the Rockies are -1780 Moneyline favorites to complete the win on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Pirates are +750 underdogs to come back with +148 odds of covering at +2.5.
