This week’s UFC Fight Night is headlined by a five-round Flyweight bout between No. 6 Tatsuro Taira and HyunSung Park. Mateusz Rebecki faces Chris Duncan in a lightweight co-main event contest.
Here are my best bets for this week’s UFC Fight Night.
Tatsuro Taira to Win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission (-110)
Taira is facing Park, who, although he has an undefeated 10-0 record with nine finishes, accepted this fight on a week’s notice. With Taira being a -325 favorite, the better play is to get him to win by KO/TKO/DQ or Submission, which is -110.
In this matchup, Taira needs to be aggressive and display his well-rounded arsenal. If he keeps Park at range with his four-inch reach advantage, a victory by finish should be doable. Taira has 12 finishes in his career and has won six of his previous eight contests via knockout or submission.
Neil Magny Moneyline (+140)
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Magny is a +140 underdog, while his opponent, Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos, is a -166 favorite. With both fighters in their late 30s and coming off losses, this matchup is a lot closer on paper than the odds suggest.
Magny has a massive seven-inch reach advantage (80″ vs. 73″) while being four inches taller (6’3″ vs. 5’11”). If Magny controls the pace, pushing Zaleski dos Santos on his back foot, he should be able to have a positive performance.
