It’s been a loaded day for injuries in MLB. The latest fly to drop is New York Mets superstar slugger Juan Soto. The $765 million man was forced to leave Tuesday’s game against the San Diego Padres with a foot injury.
Soto did manage to finish out the at-bat before grounding out to second base. It’s a promising indication that nothing is broken, but there will still be tests run after the game. New York currently trails San Diego on the road. Soto’s injury is currently being described as a foot contusion.
