UPDATE: Chourio left tonight’s game due to a right hamstring spasm.

Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio exited Tuesday’s game against the Chicago Cubs due to an apparent injury.

Chourio was rounding the basepaths and tried to leg out a triple during the bottom of the fifth inning before pulling up slowly at third base.

Chourio’s exit doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll miss significant time as it could potentially be more of a precautionary measure. However, no details have been provided yet.

The outfielder slashes .276/.311/.474 on the season with team-highs in hits, doubles, triples, runs and stolen bases. The 21-year-old looks like a clear-cut superstar as one of the best players on a Brewers squad primed for a postseason push, so any missed time will certainly hurt the team’s chances of staying ahead in the NL Central.

Milwaukee boasts the MLB’s best win percentage at 63-43. At the time Chourio exited Tuesday’s game, they held a 3-1 lead over the Cubs.
