Though there are three games tonight as part of the WNBA’s slate, the late clash between the Las Vegas Aces and Los Angeles Sparks will surely draw the most eyeballs. That’s in large part due to the return of the Sparks’ 2024 second overall pick Cameron Brink, who’s expected to make her season debut some 13 months after tearing her ACL, but also due to Las Vegas’ three-time MVP, A’ja Wilson.
Though it’s been somewhat of a down season for the seven-time All-Star starter, any other player in the league would be happy with averages of 21.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 4.0 combined steals/blocks per game.
Despite Los Angeles’ recent hot form and Brink’s return, the Aces are two-point favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set for 175. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bet centered around Wilson.

A’ja Wilson Double-Double (+100)
Despite winning six of their last seven games and staying competitive against the Minnesota Lynx, the Sparks have somehow still had the league’s third-worst defense across that span and have simply been winning by virtue of their dominant offense. Los Angeles has continued to struggle inside, allowing the fourth-most points in the paint and the second-most second-chance points, as well as the fourth-most made field goals inside five feet. It has also conceded the most rebounds, so Wilson should be a good bet to reach 10 for the fifth time in seven games.
Brink could help the interior defense: at six-foot-four, she has the length to bother Wilson, and she averaged 2.3 blocks per game in her rookie season before going down. Until she got injured on June 18, the Sparks had allowed the sixth-lowest field goal percentage within five feet of the basket before having the second-worst interior defense in basketball without her.
Regardless, Wilson’s not going to score fewer than 10 points — the last time she did that in a game in which she did not get injured was June 18, 2023 — and Brink ranked just 17th among 72 players to play at least 10 games and 20 minutes per game in 2024 in total rebounding percentage, sixth-worst among players six-foot-four or taller. Plus, she’s unlikely to play more than 15 minutes in her first game back, so Wilson can expect a solid performance against Azura Stevens.
