Baltimore Orioles vs. Toronto Blue Jays prediction, pick for Wednesday 7/30/25

The MLB season is always full of surprises. Tuesday’s doubleheader between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Baltimore Orioles had a few in store.

First and foremost, the Orioles swept both games. That was a pretty big shock considering that Toronto came into the day 15.5 games ahead of Baltimore. The first game in particular was jarring to see, a 16-4 victory for the orange side of this bird battle. Then you have the added drama of Seranthony Dominguez being traded from the Orioles to the Jays between games of the doubleheader. Yes, that happened.

Naturally, he appeared in the night game, striking out two batters in a clean seventh inning. Punching out guys he started the day with in the same clubhouse probably wasn’t how he imagined his day was going to go.

The loss in the night games leaves the Blue Jays with a four-game losing streak. As they try to hold their lead in the AL East, Toronto looks to José Berríos as the stopper against Baltimore’s Dean Kremer. The Orioles are -115 favorites on the Moneyline at home on DraftKings Sportsbook. The over/under is set at 10 runs. Let’s dig into this game.

Orioles vs. Blue Jays prediction, pick

Tomorrow’s game starts at 12:35 p.m. EST. A heat advisory kicks in at 11 a.m., so just like Tuesday, it’s going to be a scorcher out there. It may feel as hot at 107 degrees in Baltimore, which does not bode well for these pitchers.

I could dig into how these hurlers have both had their struggles, each holding ERA in a somewhat similar range though Berrios’ 3.83 edges out Kremer’s 4.23. The Orioles also thrive on the long ball which Berríos loves to give up, but this Toronto offense also seems made to cut up Kremer. What it comes down to is that the ball will be flying in the hot air and these pitchers will be on the ropes from the jump. Sometimes the weather can decide a game and this is one of those instances.

Runs will go on the board tomorrow. Don’t miss the chance to capitalize on that and take the over.

Top pick: Over 10 Runs Scored (-107)
