Rockies at Guardians game delayed due to rain Monday 7/28/25

UPDATE: The game will start at approximately 9:10 p.m. EST.

The start of Monday evening’s matchup between the Colorado Rockies and Cleveland Guardians has been delayed due to rain.

First pitch was initially scheduled for 6:40 p.m. EST at Progressive Field but inclement weather in the area will prevent the contest from starting on time. The new start time has not yet been announced.

The Guardians are -288 favorites on the Moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook, the heaviest on today’s MLB slate. The Rockies are +227 underdogs with the run total set at 8.5.

Slade Cecconi (3.76 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, 60 SO) starts for Cleveland against Colorado’s Bradley Blalock (8.67 ERA, 1.78 WHIP, nine SO).
