Prediction, pick for T1 vs. Nongshim RedForce in League of Legends Champions Korea on Sunday, July 27

With the Mid-Season Invitational and League of Legends portion of the Esports World Cup complete, the LCK returns to action for the second half of the season.

Teams are split into two groups based on results from the first half of the season, and each squad maintains their record. Each regular season match is a best of three.

The final series of the first week is between T1 and Nongshim RedForce. T1 are -550 moneyline favorite to win the series, while Nongshim RedForce is +360 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The spread is set at 1.5 with T1 favored at -135. The game total is over/under 2.5.

Here’s my prediction and pick for Sunday’s T1 vs. Nongshim RedForce matchup.

T1 vs. Nongshim RedForce prediction

For as long as Faker is still playing for T1, the team is going to be a threat on national and international stages. He’s widely considered the greatest League of Legends player of all time, and while he may be past his best years, he’s still dominating the Rift unlike many others.

T1 kicked off the second half of the season with a 2-1 series win over Gen.G. It was Gen.G’s first series loss of the 2025 season and just sixth and seventh loss in LCK play. Gen.G won MSI and EWC just weeks prior.

Nongshim RedForce haven’t had a great of a start, nor have they been a strong team all year. They’re just 10-9 in series and 24-23 in games, falling to fifth place in the Legend Group of LCK play. Their 2-0 loss to KT Rolster this week emphasized their struggles thus far.

T1 is rightfully a heavy favorite in this matchup to conclude the week.

T1 vs. Nongshim RedForce pick, best bet

Although T1 didn’t win MSI or EWC, they came awfully close in both tournaments. They typically shine in international play, and that seems to have trickled into LCK action to start the second half.

After beating Gen.G 2-1, T1 should be able to sweep Nongshim RedForce 2-0. The. spread is -1.5 with -135 odds.

Best Bets: T1 -1.5 (-135)
