Diamondbacks at Pirates game delayed due to rain Saturday 7/26/25

The start of the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Pittsburgh Pirates matchup tonight will be delayed due to weather. The first pitch was originally scheduled for 6:40 p.m. ET, and the new target start time will be 7:20.

The Diamonbacks opened the series with a 1-0 victory in 11 innings yesterday.

Andrew Heaney is scheduled to get the start for Pittsburgh. This will mark his 20th start of the season, and he enters with a 5.03 ERA and 1.314 WHIP across his first 102.0 innings pitched.

Merril Kelly is expected to be on the mound for Arizona. The 36-year-old has thrown 122.0 innings across his first 21 starts and is posting a 3.32 ERA and 1.057 WHIP.

The Diamondbacks enter as -149 favorites on the moneyline on DraftKings Sportsbook, while the Pirates hold +123 odds of getting the outright victory. The game total is set at nine runs for the matchup.
