MLB Best Bets: Top Home Run Props for Friday 7/25/25

Home runs. Long balls. Bleacher reachers. Whatever you want to call them, people love watching and betting on home runs during baseball games. So much so, we’ve got a whole article dedicated to just that.

It’s Friday. That means all 30 teams are in action on tonight’s MLB slate. That also means roughly 600 home run props to choose from on the DraftKings Sportsbook. Allow me to narrow that pool down a little.

Top Home Run Props on DraftKings Sportsbook

Jazz Chisholm Jr. 1+ Home Run (+275)

Obviously, you could also just take Aaron Judge (+145) to hit a home run on Friday, but we’re looking for slightly longer odds in this space. Chisholm’s actually been Judge-like when getting the opportunity to face-off with right-handed pitching in 2025 — especially when hitting at Yankee Stadium. For the season as a whole, the infielder possesses a very noteworthy .635 expected slugging percentage when opposed by an RHP. In his 108 plate appearances versus a righty in the Bronx? Chisholm has managed an eye-popping .427 ISO and .719 slugging percentage. That’s what 12 long balls in just 96 at-bats will do. Taijuan Walker has been much better this season than in a nightmarish 2024, but he’s on the heels of allowing a pair of home runs to the Angels in his first start out of the All-Star break. The idea of Walker pitching in front of the short porch in right field is tantalizing.

Noelvi Marte 1+ Home Run (+500)

As a team, the Reds really lack power potential. In fact, in July, Cincinnati sits 29th in baseball in ISO (.121). Still, I can’t just ignore Zack Littell pitching at Great American Ball Park. Littell has been a little better as of late, but the right-hander comes into Friday’s action having surrendered more home runs than any pitcher in 2025 (24). Shockingly, this hasn’t been a product of the Rays’ temporary home at George M. Steinbrenner Field, either, as Littell has conceded a whopping 2.18 opponent long balls per nine on the road. For his part, Marte has been crushing RHPs this season to the tune of a .317/.352/.634 slash line. He’s also got a .317 ISO within the split. Marte was once thought of as a top prospect near the level of Elly De La Cruz. Maybe the breakout is finally happening.

Manny Machado 1+ Home Run (+380)

What a season it has been for Manny Machado. After some underwhelming results in 2023 and 2024, the 33-year-old appears to be back at the top of his game in 2025, mustering a 93rd percentile expected slugging rate (.543) to go along with a 92nd percentile expected wOBA (.388) and a 90th percentile hard hit rate (51.5%). He’s been particularly great since the beginning of June, with 13 home runs and a .246 ISO within that specific span of time. Now he’ll get the opportunity to add to that long ball total against Miles Mikolas. We all remember what Mikolas did on Independence Day against the Cubs, but to widen our data set, let’s also take note of the fact that the veteran RHP has given up 10 opponent home runs over his last four outings. Going back to June 28, RHBs have combined for a ridiculous .862 slugging percentage off of Mikolas. Woof. Machado has a pair of homers versus Mikolas in their careers, as well, if that’s something that floats your boat.
