The WNBA features a three-game slate on Thursday, July 24. It kicks off with two games at 7 p.m. ET: the Sparks vs. Sun and the Aces vs. Fever. The final game will begin at 8:30 p.m. ET with the Storm visiting the Sky.
Below I’ve detailed my top bets for tonight’s slate on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Indiana Fever ML (+110)
The Fever had high expectations this season, but Caitlin Clark’s injuries have limited the team’s success thus far. It won the Commissioner’s Cup, but is only 12-12. Clark is out again tonight against the Aces, making for a closer matchup.
Las Vegas is favored, but Indiana should still win this game. The last time these teams met was on July 3. Clark also didn’t play that game, but the Fever still won 81-54. Kelsey Mitchell scored 25 points, and Aliyah Boston scored 20.
Tonight’s game shouldn’t be a blowout, but I’m not overly confident in the Aces aside from A’ja Wilson. The three-time MVP continuously proves why she’s one of the best players in the league, but her supporting cast is crumbling around her.
I have more trust in Mitchell and Boston stepping up, as they have numerous times this season with Clark sidelined. Indiana is a two-point underdog, but the moneyline has more value at +110.
Sparks vs. Sun Under 169.5 points (-108)
The Sparks are on roll, winning four of their last five and three straight. One of those wins came against the Sun, who they play again tonight. It’s the second time these teams will match up this season with the first ending in a 92-88 victory for Los Angeles.
That score hit a total of 180, which is why the over/under is set at 169.5 points for tonight. Although the previous game hit, this is a tall ask for both squads. Each team would have to score at least 85 points to surpass this over.
That should be easy for the Sparks, who have the fifth best offensive rating this season. They play the Sun, who have the worst defensive rating this year. It should be a good match, but the Sun aren’t reliable enough on offense.
Connecticut has the worst offensive rating in the league and rarely scores more than 80 in a game, let alone 85. The one thing that saves the Sun’s offense is that Los Angeles has the third worst defensive rating. This is the game that the Sun can finally get some buckets.
Still, over 169.5 points is a lot, especially for a team that typically struggles offensively. Bet the under here.
Seattle Storm -11 (-110)
This game could get ugly fast. The Storm are tied for fourth in the WNBA standings with a 14-10 record, while the Sky are 11th at 7-16. There’s already a talent gap, but the Sky have some key players on the injury report tonight.
Ariel Atkins is out and Angel Reese is currently questionable. The team will likely struggle majorly if both players are sidelined. Even with just Atkins out, the Storm should be able to handle business smoothly on the road.
