WNBA action on Thursday will kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET. We have a three-game slate, starting with the Aces taking on the Fever and the Sparks taking on the Sun. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will examine my top WNBA Pick6 plays for today’s action. You simply choose whether each set statistic will be more or less than the set number. With the stage ready, here are my favorite picks on the WNBA Pick6 slate.
Aliyah Boston More Than 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists
Once again, Caitlin Clark will be out for the Fever on Thursday. That will be her 12th game missed on the season. And Aliyah Boston has put up some serious numbers with Clark out of the lineup.
In the previous 11 games, Boston is averaging 13.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.4 assists. That’s good for a total of 24.8 P/R/A on average. That has only increased in the last five games, as Boston has adjusted to Caitlin’s absence; she’s averaging 17.2/8/4.2 in that stretch, for a 29.4 average.
While A’ja Wilson is patrolling the paint, that hasn’t been a problem for Boston this year. She’s put up 20+ points in both matchups with the Aces, clearing the 26.5 mark in P/R/A on both occasions. I expect another feast for the All-Star in this one.
Rickea Jackson More Than 13.5 Points
Rickea Jackson is on a HEATER. The 24-year-old has been going wild in the scoring column over the last few weeks, giving the Sparks a massive lift. In her last five contests, Jackson is putting up 18.4 points per game on 51.5% shooting, including 35% from deep. The efficiency is way over her head based on her career numbers, but a hot streak is a hot streak.
I don’t expect that to change against the Sun. Connecticut has the worst defensive rating in the league, surrendering an average of 88 points per game. Part of Rickea’s streak was a win over the Sun, where she scored 19 points on 9-of-16 shooting.
Tina Charles More Than 7.5 Rebounds
One thing is for sure: this Sparks-Sun contest will feature a lot of rebounds. These are two of the worst offenses in the WNBA this season, and missed shots galore will be up for grabs. And who better to grab those boards than the all-time leader in rebounds, Tina Charles.
While this season has the feel of a retirement tour, Tina is still capable of making a real impact in the box score. Over her last four games, she’s putting up 19.8 points and 9.8 rebounds per game. Three of those games have been double-digit rebounding performances. With the 1.4x boost on her Pick6 line, I’m taking the extra juice and running with it.
