Aaron Judge best prop bet for Yankees vs. Blue Jays on Wednesday 7/23/25

The Yankees currently sit at second place in the highly competitive American League East. A win tonight over the Blue Jays would put New York within two games of first. To make that happen, the Pinstripes will likely need a big game from superstar Aaron Judge. Ahead of tonight’s crucial showdown, what should we expect from #99 on Wednesday?

The Yankees areย favorites (-143)ย over the Blue Jays, with theย over/under set at 8.5 runs. Before the start of Wednesday’s matchup, here’s my favorite Aaron Judge player prop bet on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Top Aaron Judge player prop tonight

Aaron Judge O 0.5 total walks (-165)

In a career filled with hitting excellence, 2025 might be Aaron Judge’s best season yet. Through 101 games, the outfielder is slashing .346/.455/.714 with 36 home runs and 82 RBIs. At this point, it’s safe to call the slugger baseball’s best hitter, and it isn’t particularly close. The two-time MVP’s importance can’t be understated, either. Without their best player, even the Yankees would rank as a below-average offense.

Obviously, Judge’s prolific power is what generates the most headlines. With that being said, the seven-time All-Star also has one of baseball’s best eyes. Since 2022, no player has recorded a higher on-base percentage than the 33-year-old. During that time, Judge’s 405 total walks trail only former teammate Juan Soto (478).

Getting base is also made easier when other teams won’t give you anything to hit. Judge already has garnered 27 intentional walks this year. Right now, New York’s captain is on pace to crack the top ten in the all-time single season leaderboard. Blue Jays manager John Schneider has been eager to hand out free passes to the future Hall of Famer. Over his last five games vs. the Blue Jays, Judge has been given six intentional walks.

Toronto’s starter tonight, Chris Bassitt, has fairly good command (2.3 BB/9). Still, this isn’t the same as pitching against your typical hitter. When the 35-year-old hurler last faced New York on July 3rd, he handed out three base on balls, one of which came against Judge. Despite the low odds, another walk feels almost inevitable on Wednesday.
