Milwaukee Brewers vs. Seattle Mariners prediction, pick for Tuesday 7/22/25

The best team in baseball resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Brewers are 60-40 and on an 11-game win streak that includes two sweeps of the Los Angeles Dodgers. They enter the second game of their series with Seattle on Tuesday, looking to extend the streak to 12.

The Mariners have lost two straight and are 5-5 in their last 10 games. Seattle is a -126 moneyline favorite, while Milwaukee is +104 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at over/under seven runs.

Here’s my prediction and pick for Tuesday’s Brewers vs. Mariners matchup.

Brewers vs. Mariners prediction

The Mariners will look to shut down the Brewers’ win streak with Logan Gilbert on the mound. The one-time All-Star had a career year last season and is pitching well through the first half of 2025.

Gilbert dealt with an injury that’s limited him to just 61 innings after throwing a MLB-leading 208.2 frames last year. Although he won’t hit the workhorse mark that he’s accomplished over the past three seasons, his strikeouts per nine have taken quite a jump. He’s registering 13 K/9, up from 9.5 last year.

On the other side of this matchup is a Brewers’ offense that doesn’t strikeout often. They rank eighth with 7.88 strikeouts per game. It’s two forces heading directly at one another — only one will prevail.

With the way Milwaukee is playing, it seems its offense will have the advantage. The Brewers also shut out the Mariners, who have been quiet in the past two games.

Jacob Misiorowski will start for Milwaukee as he’s coming off an All-Star appearance in his rookie season. The 23-year-old is 4-1 through five starts, and struck out 12 in his last outing against the Dodgers.

The Mariners rank 27th in strikeouts per game (8.86), making this a potential nightmare matchup for Seattle’s offense.

Brewers vs. Mariners pick, best bet

It’s not often that the best team in baseball will be an underdog. The Brewers are on an 11-game win streak and will look to continue this against the Mariners on Tuesday.

Misiorowski vs. Gilbert is an intense pitching matchup, and it should make for some fun. Because the Mariners are more strikeout-prone, Misiorowski to record 7+ strikeouts (+120) is one of two best bets.

The other is Milwaukee to win outright. Getting the best team at +104 value is rare. Even with the Brewers playing on the road against Gilbert, it’s too good of an opportunity to pass up on.

Parlaying these bets together yields +262 value.

Best Bets: Brewers ML (+104), Misiorowski 7+ strikeouts (+120)
