The NASCAR Cup Series Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover is on Sunday and DraftKings is offering a new way to play fantasy NASCAR. The game is simple. Build a “Pick Set” (2+ drivers) and decide if they will outperform their stat projections. Carson Hocevar: Finishing Position – 11.5

What’s the deal? Why is Carson Hocevar the shiny new thing? Where did this hype come from? A top-20 finish for Hocevar might be a stretch.
The kid has a target on his back. No one is going to race him cleanly after witnessing his on-track behavior this season. The biggest argument against Hocevar is his stats. He has four top-10 finishes this season, but three were at superspeedway races. His median finish at intermediate tracks is 29.5—one of the worst in the series. The Spire Motorsports driver has finished 24th or worse in six of those eight races. Plus, he’s starting 33rd in a race where passing is extremely difficult with the Gen-7 car.
Kyle Larson: Finishing Position – 4.5
Pick6 Play: Worse
It’s never fun to pick against Yung Money. It’s terrifying. Kyle Larson is excellent at every track, and Dover is no exception. He’s also coming in with momentum. Earlier this week, Larson won $100,000 by dominating an elite field of dirt racers in the Joker’s Jackpot at Eldora Speedway. However, his sprint car win might hint at why it will be difficult for Larson to earn a top-five finish on Sunday in a stock car. Larson told pit road reporters that sprint car racing is the best racing around. Translation: stock car racing in the Gen-7 car is subpar. That’s a charitable interpretation. Passing is difficult at Dover, and while Larson can methodically work through the field, it won’t be easy. It will be especially challenging with a terrible pit stall. One mistake on pit road could be terminal. Larson must run a perfect race just to secure a top-five finish. He’s been good this season, but not perfect.

Create a Pick Set by choosing at least two players from the same sport and Pick Group (a set of picks available from a group of set competitions). For each player, simply select if you think they’ll have more or less than their listed stat projection. In each Pick Set, you can not pick the same player twice and you must pick players from at least two different teams.
Enter an Amount
Once you finalize your Pick Set, choose your entry fee amount. Your entries will be automatically distributed into available contests, subject to your confirmation.
Sweat Your Picks
When the games go live, use the My Picks tab to follow your picks in real time to track how your players are performing against their projections and how they stack up against other users.
Compete for Prizes
Make enough correct picks and win a share of the contests’ guaranteed prizes. Any prizes won will be credited to your DraftKings account after contests are finalized.
