Caitlin Clark Injury Update: Will not participate in the WNBA All-Star Game

Updated:

By: Alex Hunter

Caitlin Clark injured her groin late in Tuesday’s win over the Connecticut Sun and will not participate in this weekend’s WNBA All-Star Game or 3-Point Contest.

Indiana is hosting WNBA All-Star weekend and Clark was one of the team captains for the All-Star game, after she led the league in fan votes. After missing zero games in college or in her rookie season, Clark has dealt with multiple injuries in 2025. She has missed 11 games — including the Commissioner’s Cup Final — and in those tilts, the Fever are 5-6.

With her season riddled by injuries, Clark is averaging 16.5 PPG on 36% shooting, after averaging 19.2 PPG on 41% shooting a year ago. However, Clark’s playmaking has remained strong, with her averaging 8.8 assists per game, compared to 8.4 assists per game last season.

Replacing Clark at the All-Star game will be Washington Mystics guard Brittney Sykes. Plus, Atlanta Dream forward Brionna Jones will be replacing injured Phoenix Mercury forward Satou Saballay (ankle).

With Clark ruled out for Saturday’s All-Star game, Team Caitlin is now a 4.5-point underdog vs. Team Napheesa on DraftKings Sportsbook.
