The NASCAR season is revving up and DraftKings is shifting into high gear with an assortment of fantasy NASCAR contests. Dive into the best fantasy racing picks for the NASCAR Cup Series Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 at Dover.

  1. Denny Hamlin ($11,000) — The Gen-7 car does not produce the best racing at Dover. Track position is critical, and passing is limited. The front of the grid will dominate the race. Hamlin started sixth in the 2024 race, led the most laps, ran the most fast laps, and won (111 fantasy points).
  2. Kyle Larson ($11,500) — Sunday could be a fun day. The battle between Yung Money and his friend/rival Denny Hamlin is at its best at Dover. Both have been elite at this track. Larson scored 97 fantasy points at Dover in 2024 and 165 in the 2021 race.
  3. Ryan Blaney ($10,700) — This is a good time to hit reset. The NASCAR summer circuit is strange, with the Cup Series running every track type—Pocono, pack racing and road courses. Dover is a return to the norm, and the norm has been Blaney in 2025.
  4. Tyler Reddick ($9,800) — A win has eluded the 23XI Toyota driver in 2025. Wins don’t come easily, but it should be easier than this. Reddick’s wARP (weighted average running position) and PGAE/100 (positions gained above expected—ability to pass) are top five in 2025.
  5. William Byron ($10,500) — The No. 24 Hendrick Chevy is fast. Crew Chief Rudy Fugle is building fast race cars. Byron tops the speed charts in cPOMS (Continuously Graded Percent of Max Speed—a driver’s speed on each lap compared to the fastest lap speed recorded by any driver on that lap) and SS (Speed Score—a driver’s 95th percentile lap time compared to the race’s 95th percentile lap time, or their best lap compared to the race’s best lap—a measure of top speed).
  6. Christopher Bell ($10,200) — Fast cars and talent are great, but results matter. Bell has speed and seals the deal. His average pFAE (positions finished above expected) and wPFARP (weighted positions finished above running position) at intermediate tracks both rank No. 2.
  7. Ross Chastain ($9,500) — His 2024 performance was disappointing, but he lacked track position. The first two Gen-7 races at Dover were a different story. Chastain scored 97 and 84 fantasy points.
  8. Chase Elliott ($10,000) — No driver has been in more DraftKings optimal lineups this season. That’s what matters in the end. Elliott fans want better runs at intermediate and short tracks. Elliott haters will always hate. DFS fans are pleased.
  9. Joey Logano ($8,500) — It’s a typical Logano season. His wARP is ninth, but his pFAE ranks third. That’s Logano’s career: he runs well but always seems to finish better than expected.
  10. Kyle Busch ($8,300) — Once upon a time, there was a Kyle Busch curse at Dover. Every spring, something would ruin Busch’s race. He would be the man to beat in the fall race. With one race per season, the curse has been lifted. Busch has scored 20 Hog Points or more in the last three races.
  11. Erik Jones ($6,300) — Legacy Motor Club is flying under the radar. Jones has a top-10 median finish at intermediate tracks. He’s earned a top-15 finish in six of the eight races and in each of the last three.
  12. Ryan Preece ($7,000) — This could be the week. Preece appears to be on the Chris Buescher program. Out of nowhere, Buescher won three races in the summer of 2023. It wasn’t a revelation; Buescher had speed but was one step away. Preece is one step away.
  13. Zane Smith ($5,600) — His median finish is 14.5 at intermediate tracks in 2025 (10th). Smith has earned six top-20 finishes in the eight races.
  14. Alex Bowman ($8,800) — There are traditional stats and advanced stats for predicting outcomes. There are plenty of stats for analyzing racing. This is DFS NASCAR. How many times has the fantasy pick worked? Bowman has been optimal in seven races (second-most).
  15. Daniel Suarez ($6,100) — It’s statement time. Suarez needs to find a ride for 2026. Trackhouse Racing has been fielding solid intermediate track cars. Suarez finished 16th at Nashville and 14th at Michigan. It will not be surprising to see this team swing for the fences with strategy calls down the stretch.
