NBA Futures: Toronto Raptors 2025-26 projected win total odds, best bets

The Toronto Raptors finished the 2024-25 campaign with a 30-52 record but were never quite at full strength as trade deadline acquisition Brandon Ingram didn’t play a single game for the franchise due to a nagging ankle injury. With free agency and the NBA Draft now in the rearview, hoops fans north of the border look ahead to 2025-26 with largely the same core plus a healthy Ingram and a top-10 pick.

As NBA futures markets go live on DraftKings Sportsbook, we’re taking a look at the Raptors’ win total projections. At 35.5, that line remains the ninth-lowest mark of any team as things currently stand. Read on to see which direction bettors should target.

Analysis

The Raptors had a pretty quiet offseason overall in terms of player movement. Their only notable loss was Chris Boucher, a veteran big man who was the last remaining member of the 2019 NBA Finals-winning roster. He leaves behind a void of around 17 minutes a night and averaged 10 PPG with a handful of blocks, so Boucher’s production certainly isn’t irreplaceable.

Where additions are concerned, Toronto’s biggest acquisition came through the draft when the team selected South Carolina forward Collin Murray-Boyles with the No. 9 pick. The 20-year-old posted averages of 16.8 PPG and 8.3 rebounds in his second season with the Gamecocks, but his defensive disruption looks like a solid add with 1.3 blocks and 1.5 steals a night. It’s clear the Raptors have a type as Murray-Boyles fits the mold of a long and rangy forward with a 6-foot-7 frame and nearly a 7-foot-1 wingspan, so he’s exactly the kind of player the team likes. He immediately slots in as a backup forward and adds even more size to an already-large group of wings.

The Raptors also added Sandro Mamukelashvili and David Roddy through free agency, though both are slated for depth roles. Depending on perspective, one can almost say Brandon Ingram counts as an offseason add since he hasn’t suited up for the team yet and will play his first minutes in Toronto when the new year rolls around. Contract concerns aside, he immediately adds a scoring punch the Raptors desperately need — the former New Orleans Pelican posted 22.2 PPG last season while shooting 37.4% from three-point range. While Ingram’s shot selection sometimes appears questionable, he actually does fit in pretty nicely with this Toronto squad at 6-foot-8 and can play anywhere between the two and the four positionally.

If there’s anything the Raptors are missing, it’s a true playmaker at the guard spots. Scottie Barnes likely maintains a point-forward role and will see plenty of reps as the lead ball-handler, but adding another proper ball-handler (preferably a lead guard) would benefit this lineup. Still, they have talent so it’s now a matter of making it all click together.

Toronto Raptors projected win total: Best bets, predictions

Toronto Raptors over 35.5 wins (-110)

Honestly, people seem to underrate this Raptors team. It’s easy to do so since their record last season didn’t look all that great, however, there’s reason for optimism up north.

Yes, the roster remains flawed in some ways with plenty of guys who play the same roles and excel at the same skills. That’s not to say that Toronto will be genuinely bad, though. The 35.5-win line feels a little bit low considering the addition of a former All-Star talent in Ingram. With the context of how weak the Eastern Conference looks next season due to the Jayson Tatum and Tyrese Haliburton injuries as well as a potential Giannis Antetokounmpo trade, the Raptors should play more competitive basketball and come out on top in a few games they would’ve lost last year.

I’m not arguing that Toronto makes a deep playoff run by any means, but there’s certainly a case for them potentially flirting with the .500 mark in the higher-end outcomes. Even if they don’t quite reach that, the quality of opponents in the East means the Raptors could very easily make the Play-In Tournament even if they don’t have a great year. However, I’m bullish enough on the combination of circumstances to even consider an alt win total of over 38.5 at +175 odds, if not pushing that a bit higher. Long story short, this team should look better in 2025-26.
